Borrowing is Better than Bank Robbery!
Congratulations! You have started to consider your budget. What this means is that it is very likely that as soon as you know what the costs are going to be, you can fit treatment into your budget, right?
Our office uses the services of ChaseHealthAdvance (our office ID, 44083, is filled in for you) and also CareCredit. By selecting either of those links, you may apply for 100% financing on several different terms linked to our office. You will also find payment calculators that will help you to explore different financing options for various treatment solutions and costs.
There is no such thing as a free lunch: ALL financing options create additional expenses for someone and those must be paid. In some case our office will absorb those additional costs. In other cases the patient will. ALWAYS consider your own personal budget and don’t be afraid to discuss money matters with Dr. Schlie. We will try our best to provide multiple options from which to choose.
We prefer to minimize everyone's costs and for that reason we prefer that you pay us directly with cash, credit card, or check. But let's face financial realites... Most people today finance large expenses, regardless of the type, and Major Dentistry is no exception.
What happens if your credit prevents you from getting the necessary financing? Some of our patients fall into that category for any number of reasons. There are still options open to you. Don’t be afraid to discuss money matters with Dr. Schlie. We have been doing this for a long time and know how to get things done.
Credit for Dental Services
Important California Legal Notices
California Law (AB 171) requires that you be informed that the applications and information that you submit are for a credit card/line of credit or loan to help you finance your dental treatment. You should know that:
You are applying for a credit card/line of credit or a loan for a predetermined amount that you have decided upon.
You do not have to apply for the credit card/line of credit or loan. You may pay your dentist for dental treatment in another manner.
This credit card/line of credit or loan is not a payment plan with the dental office; it is credit with a FINANCING COMPANY. Your dentist does not work for that or any FINANCING COMPANY.
Before applying for this credit card/line of credit or loan, you have the right to a written treatment plan that includes the anticipated treatment to be provided and the estimated costs of each service.
If you are approved for a credit card/line of credit, or loan your dentist can only charge treatment and lab costs to that credit card/line of credit when you receive the treatment or the dentist incurs costs unless your dentist has first given you a list of treatments that you are paying for in advance and the cost for each treatment or service.
You have the right to receive a credit to your credit card/line of credit or to have your loan account refunded for any costs charged to the credit card/line of credit or loan account for treatment that has not been rendered or costs that your dentist has not incurred. Your dentist must refund the amount of the charges to the FINANCING COMPANY within 15 business days of your request, after which the FINANCING COMPANY will credit your account.
Please read carefully the terms and conditions of this credit card/line of credit or loan, including any promotional offers.
You may be required to pay interest on the amount charged to the credit card/line of credit or the amount of the loan. If you miss a payment or do not pay on time, you may have to pay a penalty and/or a higher interest rate.
If you do not pay the amount that you owe the FINANCING COMPANY, your missed payments can appear on your credit report and could hurt your credit rating. You could also be sued.
